Artishock cares a lot about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services. We take great care about keeping your date secure. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
Below you can read how we process your data, where we save it, what security techniques we use and for whom the data are transparent.
Web hosting and e-mail services are supported by Unipheye. Unipheye processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. Unipheye has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Unipheye is obliged by virtue of the confidentiality agreement.
We use the services of Unipheye for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Unipheye has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.
We use the EMS platform to handle a (part of) the payments in our webshop. EMS processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. EMS has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. EMS reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties. EMS will, in the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), share personal information and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All the above-mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of EMS's services for which they engage third parties. EMS will not store your data for longer than is permitted under the legal terms.
If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL for the execution of the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with PostNL. PostNL uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties. If you are registered in our customer base you will receive occasional mail from us. If you do not appreciate this, you can indicate this by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your address will then not be approached for commercial purposes. Your e-mail address will not be included in our customer base.
We only use your data for the benefit of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the order you provide, namely the purchase in our webshop or in our physical store. We do not use your data for marketing purposes that are not related to Artishock. If you share information with us and we use this information to contact you at a later date - other than at your request - we will ask you explicitly for this. Your information will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties have all been kept confidential on the basis of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.
In some exceptional cases Artishock can be held on the basis of a legal obligation to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigation. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities that the law offers us.
We keep your information as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also consider this as a request for forgiveness. On the basis of applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in connection with your assignment.
